Silencers

Matis dissipative silencers can vary in shape according to the duct in which they are installed.

There are two types:

• baffle silencers reduce noise transmitted by air through ventilation and air conditioning ducts,
• straight cylindrical silencers reduce noise emissions produced and/or transmitted by gaseous fluids in industrial installations.

Both are constructed using the same kind of material:

• water repellent,
• resistant to spores and bacteria,
• resistant to corrosion by atmospheric agents.

Both offer very little resistance to the passage of air flows, and are used when soundproofing is necessary without impacting the flow of air needed for the correct functioning of the plant.

These systems can be applied to any type of plant by means of specially made connectors which can be used both for extraction and for air outlets.
