Project Description
Environmental treatments consist of the acoustic remediation of a given space: this reduces the area’s reverb times and consequently also the sound pressure levels of reflected noise, added to the noise transmitted directly by the source. This improves the acoustic qualities of the area treated.
This type of acoustic remediation improves acoustics and is effective only outside the direct field of the source of noise; furthermore, the higher the reverb the more effective it is.
Environmental treatments may be of several types:
- wall cladding,
- ceiling lowering,
hanging of vertical panels or baffles
